Nallakannu, the veteran CPI leader who is over 101 years old, has been receiving treatment from time to time due to age-related health issues.
On the night of February 1, he suffered breathing difficulties once again and was immediately admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital. In this situation, MDMK General Secretary Vaiko visited the hospital yesterday, met Nallakannu, and enquired about his health.
